HOW TO USE:
1. remove the brush from the mascara - always do this in one movement. The ‘pumping’ reflex is incorrect. This allows air to enter the mascara bottle and therefore dries faster. You can tell when mascara is dry because unsightly clumps start to form on your lashes.
2. gently wipe the brush with a tissue. This will remove any excess mascara, helping to avoid clumps and unsightly lumps.
Most make-up artists recommend applying mascara from the centre of the eye. Starting at the base of the lashes, gently brush the mascara formula upwards to the tips. Then move to the outer and inner corners of the eye.
Use the tip of the brush to apply the mascara to the lower lashes. Hold it upright so that the movement is precise and the mascara doesn't leave marks on the lower eyelid.
5. once you've applied the first coat, it's a good idea to apply another coat in a ‘zig-zag’ pattern. Apply mascara by moving the brush left and right. This will give your lashes a good brushing and also lengthen them.
+ The mascara brush should be washed at least once a week! This is the only way to remove excess dried mascara and avoid clumping and overloading the lashes. A clean brush prolongs the life of the mascara and is simply healthier for your eyes.
